Artist Statement

My works have consistently involved aspects of architectural space and the Still Life, the painting genre most directly associated with interior space.
Of course the White Cube’ is the most ubiquitous interior with which the contemporary visual artist must contend, it both contains and magnifies intent.
When daylight is allowed to enter, the white interior is transformed into an eloquent void that captures, reflects and amplifies the changes of light, tone and colour that transit its’ surfaces.
